Back in September Fatima and I produced a radio series called Africans and Asians in Britain. We took our inspiration from a course Fatima studied at SOAS and worked in our own experiences, media discussion of immigration and some questions about the relationship between Black and Asian British history. We also looked at notions of identity, the politics of belonging and the part minorities play in alternative political action.
